We stock magnetic name badges in rigid PVC card holders that fit the standard 90x55mm credit card format. The rigid construction keeps your printed insert flat and protected all day, and the magnet on the reverse is strong enough to hold through suit jackets, chef whites, scrub tops and thick cotton polos without slipping. For a larger format, our medium rigid PVC holders with magnet back fit bigger inserts with room for name, title, department and company logo.

How strong are the magnets on your name badges?

Our magnetic name badges use rare earth neodymium magnets that hold firmly through most fabrics including suit jackets, cotton shirts, polyester uniforms and scrub tops. They grip through material up to about 3mm thick. For very heavy or oversized badges we recommend testing a sample first, which we are happy to arrange.

Will magnetic name badges damage my clothing?

No. That is the whole point. Unlike pin backs that puncture fabric and leave visible holes, magnetic badges grip through the material without touching it directly. There is no contact between the metal and your clothing surface so there is no risk of snagging, pilling or permanent marks.

Can I print custom names on the inserts for each staff member?

Yes. You can either order pre printed inserts with individual names, titles and logos through our custom printed name tags service, or you can print your own inserts in house on a standard office printer and slide them into the holder. The rigid PVC pocket opens from the top for easy insert changes.
