Key Ring Lanyards

Our key ring lanyards combine ID badge display with key management in a single piece. Instead of carrying keys loose in a pocket and a separate lanyard for your badge, these lanyards hold both on one strap around your neck. The split ring attachment at the end takes car keys, USB drives, access fobs and small tools alongside your ID card holder.

We stock key ring lanyards in two formats. The short strap keytag is a 20mm wide polyester strip that sits close to the chest and works well when you only need to carry a key or two with your badge. It clips onto a belt loop or bag strap just as easily as it hangs from your neck, making it a versatile option for staff who move between wearing their lanyard and pocketing it during the day. For a full length option that hangs at waist level, our standard neck lanyards are also available with a split ring end instead of the usual swivel hook or alligator clip.

These are popular with facilities managers, school admin staff, building caretakers and warehouse teams who need quick access to door keys throughout the day without fumbling through pockets. Tradies and maintenance crews also use them on site to keep locker keys and tool shed keys visible and within reach at all times.

Want to add your company logo? Our custom printed lanyards can be produced with a key ring attachment instead of the standard clip. Screen printing works for one to four colour logos on the polyester strap, and full colour sublimation is available if your design needs photographic detail or gradients. What can I attach to a key ring lanyard?

The split ring at the end works exactly like a standard keychain ring. You can attach car keys, building keys, USB flash drives, proximity fobs, small torches and bottle openers. The ring opens to add or remove items without tools. Most people carry between one and four keys comfortably on the ring alongside a PVC card holder for their ID badge.

Can I get key ring lanyards custom printed with my logo?

Yes. We print key ring lanyards with your logo in screen print (one to four colours) or full colour sublimation. The minimum order for custom printed lanyards is 50 units with a turnaround of approximately 10 working days from artwork approval. What is the difference between a short strap keytag and a full length key ring lanyard?

The short strap keytag is about 20cm long and hangs at upper chest level. It is compact and designed to be tucked into a shirt pocket or clipped to a belt when not worn around the neck. A full length key ring lanyard hangs down to waist level like a standard lanyard, giving you more reach when swiping cards at door readers or unlocking things at arm’s length.

Do key ring lanyards come with a safety breakaway?

Our short strap keytag does not include a breakaway by default. If you need a safety breakaway clasp for workplace compliance, we can supply full length lanyards with both a breakaway and a key ring end. Contact our team to arrange this combination.
